ArtFlow Studio App Review

As I mentioned in a previous post, I use ArtFlow Studio on my Android phone and now tablet to make art. I find that it has the most drawing and painting features out of the apps on the Play Store that I have found so far, aside from Medibang Paint. The paid version is bought in-app for only about $5 regular price. Layers, MULTIPLY style applied. When I am working with my hand-drawn inks I need a "place/import image" feature. ArtFlow has an easy to use layers panel with layer styles just like the ones found in Adobe Photoshop. I import my image then apply the layer style, "multiply". While the free version is limited to three layers, t he paid version comes with unlimited layers! Even though I am more comfortable sketching on paper, there are a variety of textured brush options that do a fantastic job of mimicking actual drawing mediums. Away From the Keyboard

I've been AFK for a LONG time. Actually, I've been with visiting family and also going on vacation. In April, I spent some time with family in Manila, Philippines. I'm usually not the type to document every step of my private life, as I don't see a reason to share it with strangers, so I took a break from social media and the blog. After I got back I spent time with family and extended family. Now I'm back. Thank you to all who read my blog. Manila, Philippines 2019.

Back on the Internet

Hi Wonderful Readers, I have taken a break from the internet because I was feeling like it was wasting my time. Mostly scrolling through FB and IG and I had some big life stressors that required my attention. But also because I just wasn't feeling like writing. Hey, but now I am back. I took a break for two reasons. First, I was feeling tired of trying to show up and 'put myself out there' for I don't know who or why. Recently I remembered I had decided to make a blog for myself to document my experiences as an artist. My goal is to please myself with the quality of work that I can produce... not to sell myself, to sell a product, or tell a marketing narrative. Too often, in any industry, stereotypes are enforced and unique experiences are left for dead under the infinite rug that is the internet. Sharing a perspective, even if I and my grandma are the only two reading it, is only half my motivation. Second, I work in marketing. Half of my job is creative design
