New characters from the recent years! Post up on my online portfolio!
I thought I had an artistic style before, but these guys are so unique to my art now. From looking at my old characters and these, I can see positive ways in how my character designs have changed. At first, I thought I was losing my ability to render human characters. I incorporated elements of the world around me. I included personality traits of people. I experimented with the boundaries of human and beast. In all, I find that these characters are interesting in more ways than my previous ones.
